
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been named the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player of the Year for the third time in his career, a record for the award.
Last season the 33-year-old Egyptian played 38 Premier League matches, scored 29 goals and provided 18 assists, finishing as both the league’s top scorer and top assister. He was also included in the PFA Team of the Year.
Salah has played for Liverpool since 2017. His contract runs until summer 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates him at €50 million.
