According to Telecomasia.net, five specialists from Sevilla's system will join the new coaching staff of Moscow side Rodina. The club owner, Sergey Lomakin, personally selected the head coach, who is likely to be either the former coach of the second team or a specialist from the Spanish club’s academy.
There was an alternative option of signing coaches from Villarreal. It’s worth noting that another club owned by Lomakin (Paphos) has three Spanish specialists working for it: head coach Juan Carlos Carcedo and his assistants Sebastián Corona and Sergi Cobo.
Telecomasia.net reports that the name of Rodina's new head coach may be announced before the 9th round of the PARI League match against Yenisey, scheduled for September 7. Barsegh Kirakosyan, the acting head coach, will lead the team's preparation for the eighth-round match against Neftekhimik. After seven rounds, Rodina are in 13th place in the standings with 7 points.
In early August, Slovenian specialist Zoran Zeljković was dismissed from his position as head coach of the Moscow club due to the team's poor start in the new PARI League season. Under his leadership, Rodina managed to earn only one point in their first three matches, which led to the mutual termination of his contract.
