Paulo Barbosa exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I met Simonyan a few times. He is an amazing person, he was an integral part of the history of the USSR and Russian football. He was very friendly and humble; he knew how to hold a conversation with everyone. Nikita Pavlovich was a great man. It's a sad moment for all football fans.
Nikita Simonyan is an Olympic champion from 1956 and the all-time top goalscorer in the history of Spartak Moscow.
