Spartak Agree Djiku Transfer With Fenerbahce

According to Telecomasia.net, Spartak and Fenerbahçe have finished negotiations over defender Alexander Djiku’s move to the Moscow club. If no unforeseen circumstances arise, the transfer will be announced officially soon.

Earlier, Turkish journalist Aydın Çengiz reported that Fenerbahçe president Ali Koç changed his mind and decided not to let Djiku go to Spartak, even though the player had already travelled to Moscow and passed a medical. Djiku was not included in Fenerbahçe’s Europa League squad.

Insider Ivan Karpov, whose information was confirmed by Championat, said Spartak must pay Fenerbahçe €2 million for the 31‑year‑old Djiku. The plan was to sign him through 2027.
