Spartak Deem Price for Lopez Too High, Exploring Other Options

According to Telecomasia.net, Spartak Moscow are dissatisfied with the transfer fee that Palmeiras are seeking for striker José Manuel Lopez.

The Brazilian club aims to receive between €16-18 million plus bonuses from the sale and is currently unwilling to lower the price. As a result, Spartak's sports department has started to consider other, more affordable options in case they cannot negotiate a better deal for the Argentine forward.

Earlier, Telecomasia.net reported that Lopez’s salary at Spartak could be between €2.5-3 million plus bonuses, making him one of the highest-paid players in the Moscow club. Transfermarkt estimates the 24-year-old forward at €10 million.
