Super League secretary general Anas Laghrari said the new tournament should start in September 2025. He said many clubs have signed up to participate, although they have publicly opposed it.
Quest France quoted the functionary as saying:

We could start tomorrow, but the objective is to start the new competition in September 2025, and to do so with the best teams in Europe and also with English clubs. There are clubs that have privately signed up to the project and have publicly opposed it.
Lagrari pointed out that he can not name the clubs that have agreed to participate in the Super League, for fear of retaliatory sanctions against them by UEFA.
Recall, in December last year, the Court of Justice of the European Union recognized the actions of FIFA and UEFA to oppose the creation of the Super League illegal.
