London club Tottenham Hotspur is showing serious interest in Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, according to AS. The English club has reportedly approached los Blancos to hold preliminary discussions about a potential transfer of the 23-year-old Brazilian.
The deal's financial details are not expected to be a problem for the Spurs, especially after Son Heung-min's departure. The South Korean star left the club this summer, freeing up a significant portion of the salary budget — he previously earned around 11 million euros a year.
Rodrygo's situation at Real Madrid has become complicated following Xabi Alonso’s appointment as head coach. The manager reportedly does not consider the forward among his starting options, prioritizing Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior instead.
Besides Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool are also showing interest in the player. Rodrygo's contract with Real Madrid runs until 2028.
