
Forbes reported that US President Donald Trump was booed by fans twice during the final of the 2025 Club World Cup match between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
The first incident occurred when the 79-year-old president appeared on the stadium screen alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino during the national anthem. The second occasion saw Trump being booed during the trophy presentation to the Chelsea players. On July 13, it was announced that the president would attend the decisive match of the Club World Cup.
The match took place on July 13 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, concluding with a decisive 3-0 victory for Chelsea under coach Enzo Maresca. Midfielder Cole Palmer scored twice (in the 22nd and 30th minutes), while forward João Pedro added another goal in the 43rd minute.
