An unsigned military draft notice from the Vietnam War era addressed to former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali will be sold at auction in October. Christie’s estimates the lot could fetch $3-5 million.
Ali’s refusal to serve in the military led to him being stripped of his championship title, temporarily suspended and involved in legal battles.

Ali fought his final bout against Trevor Berbick in December 1981. He lost that fight by unanimous decision. His career record stood at 56 wins (37 by knockout) and five losses.
