- 3. (not in top 10 previously) Cole Palmer (Chelsea);
- 4. (2) Ousmane Dembélé (PSG);

His spot has been taken by Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer, who was named the best player at the 2025 Club World Cup and has immediately risen into the top three.
Currently, the reigning Ballon d'Or winner is Rodri, the Manchester City midfielder and Spain international.
The nominees for the Ballon d'Or will be announced in August, and the award ceremony will take place on September 22 in Paris.
