Liverpool and Netherlands defender Virgil van Dijk has revealed who he considers to be the most difficult opponent of the strikers he has had to play against.
France Football quotes the captain of the Dutch national team as saying:

Olivier Giroud. Every time, you think you've got a hold of him, that you've got him well marked, but he always manages to score in one way or another: with his head, his foot, his knee. He has often scored against me.
Giroud and van Dijk met in the EPL during the Frenchman's appearances for Chelsea, as well as at national team level.
