On June 28, a boxing event took place in Wichita, USA, where former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder faced fellow American Tyrrell Herndon in the main event.

The fight ended with Wilder winning by knockout in the sixth round.

Prior to this, Herndon fought Rudy Silvas in May 2024. That match went the distance and ended in Herndon’s favor by a split decision. He now has 24 wins (15 by knockout) and six losses.
