UEFA has fined Barcelona forwards Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski €5,000 each, Marca reported. The disciplinary measure relates to a breach of the procedures for doping control after the Champions League semifinal second leg against Inter (4–3 after extra time).
According to the source, immediately after the final whistle both players failed to appear at the control checkpoint, as required by the rules.
In last season’s Champions League the 17‑year‑old Yamal scored five goals and provided three assists in 13 matches. Lewandowski played the same number of games and scored 11 goals.
