The 18-year-old winger from Barcelona has been named the Kopa Trophy winner by the respected France Football magazine. This marks the second consecutive year Yamal has won the award.
Notably, Yamal is the first young player in history to win the Kopa Trophy twice.
A product of Barcelona’s academy, Yamal has been playing for the first team since summer 2023. So far, he has played 109 matches, scored 27 goals, and provided 37 assists.
