17-year-old winger Lamine Yamal from FC Barcelona and the Spain national team has named his favourite football players outside of Barcelona.
Right now, outside of Barça, I think [Ousmane] Dembele or Bukayo Saka are doing really well.
Notably, his list did not include legendary Argentine player Lionel Messi, who previously played for Barcelona and currently plays for the American club Inter Miami.
The young talent also left out Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia after his stints with Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus.
Lamine Yamal is a La Masia academy graduate and has been part of Barcelona's first team since July 2023. In the current season, he has appeared in 51 matches for the club, scoring 15 goals and providing 24 assists.
He has a contract with the club until June 2026, and Transfermarkt estimates him at 180 million euros.
