Former Manchester City and Ivory Coast national team midfielder Yaya Toure shared new details of his complicated relationship with the Citizens' current head coach, Pep Guardiola.

Yaya Toure played under Pep Guardiola at both Barcelona and Manchester City.
It is noted that in both clubs, the Spanish coach gradually stopped including the Ivorian in the starting lineup over time, favoring other players.
During his career, Yaya Toure also played for clubs such as ASEC Mimosas, Beveren, Metalurh, Olympiacos, Monaco, and Qingdao Huanghai.
The Ivorian footballer ended his playing career in 2019 at the age of 35.
