According to Telecomasia.net, 31-year-old Canadian forward Brendan Leipsic, who recently obtained Russian citizenship and is no longer considered a foreign player in the KHL, may continue his career with Amur.
Our sources indicate that the management of the Khabarovsk club is in discussions with the player’s side regarding potential cooperation, but they have yet to agree on the financial aspects of the deal.
Last season, Leipsic started with Avtomobilist before being traded to Sibir. He has also played for CSKA, SKA, and Metallurg in the KHL.
In the 2024/25 season, Leipsic tallied 61 games in the regular season and FONBET KHL playoffs, scoring 24 points (12 goals and 12 assists).
