Manchester Originals beat Norther Superchargers in a one-sided victory as Kate Cross and Lizelle Lee put on brilliant performances. Batting first, Northern Superchargers could only come up with 126 runs as only Laura Wolvaardt played a terrific innings of 75 runs. Kate Cross shined with the ball as she claimed three wickets for just 19 runs. Then Lizelle Lee pulverised the Superchargers bowling as she finished with 68 runs off 40 balls.
After the win, the Originals are placed at 6th spot in the rankings and have mustered up 5 points. On the other hand, the Superchargers are number 3 in the Table with 7 points in their bag. According to the rules, The team that finishes on the top automatically qualifies for the final while the number 2 and number 3 team will square off in an eliminator to earn the rights to play the top team.
