Adesanya names his main goal in his fight with Pereira

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya admitted that his least concern is defending his belt in his upcoming fight against Brazilian Alex Pereira.

Israel Adesanya
The most important thing for me is to beat him. What about the belt? To hell with it! I just want to beat a killer like him, and that's all that really matters.

The title fight between Adesanya and Pereira is to headline the UFC 281 tournament, which will take place on the night of Nov. 13 at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA.

Pereira and Adesanya have previously met in bouts under the rules of kickboxing. Israel has suffered two losses. Adesanya lost the first fight, held in April 2016, by unanimous decision of the judges. And in the second fight, held in March 2017, Israel lost to his opponent by knockout.
