Magomed Ankalaev is like Jesus, suffering for his young and foolish brothers. As soon as he came out, it was clear that his mindset was overly intense. But it was on the edge of nervousness. There was no proper tactical plan at the start of the fight. He just needed to survive the first round, and then it would’ve been easier. At the beginning, he needed to shoot takedowns, anything but doing what Pereira has spent his whole life doing. I wish him a speedy recovery, a regroup, and more victories ahead. And to his team and others with the same approach, I wish them to forget about caution and invite me to help them prepare.
