Former UFC champion in two weight classes, B.J. Penn, has been arrested for the fourth time in less than two weeks, taken into custody by police in Hawaii. This was reported by Yahoo Sports.
According to an official police statement, Penn was detained after the police discovered that the 46-year-old fighter had entered a residence, violating a temporary restraining order that prohibited him from approaching his own mother. It is reported that B.J. was taken to the police station in Hilo, where he went through processing and was released on a $3,000 bail.
Penn last fought against Clay Guida in May 2019 at UFC 237. In that fight, BJ was defeated by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 16 wins, 14 losses and two draws to his name in mixed martial arts.
