Former UFC champion BJ Penn has released an emotional video appeal in which he states that he needs help. He specifically reached out to his former colleagues at Zuffa, including Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta.
Penn claims he has been evicted from the home where he lived his entire life and is now prohibited from approaching the property – even to call for his dogs or retrieve his belongings. According to him, he is currently living in a studio, and any attempt to come near his house poses a risk of arrest.
This message is for Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta. I need your guys’ help. Getting pushed out of everything, about to have everything stolen from us, all the money that I made from the UFC... Every dollar I made invested back in, I’m about to get it all taken from me.
In the video, he also mentions Pat Tenore and Mark Mastrov, with whom he collaborated on the UFC Gym project.
It’s worth noting that Penn's mother previously stated he suffers from Capgras syndrome, a psychological disorder where a person believes that their loved ones have been replaced by identical impostors. Penn himself has frequently posted on social media about “people wearing masks” of his family members.
