Borralho Makes Statement After Loss To Imavov

Top Brazilian UFC middleweight Caio Borralho commented on his loss to France’s Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Fight Night 258.

On the night of September 6 in Paris, France, Borralho lost by unanimous decision (50–45, 49–46, 49–46).

Caio Borralho
I think Nassourdine was the better man today. He was very fast, as I was expecting. He did very good in the fight. I couldn’t really adapt (my strategy) that much. I wanted to make this fight entertaining for the fans and the UFC. So, I tried to strike with one of the best strikers in the world and that’s what you guys saw: a great war.

Borralho’s prior fight was in August 2024 at UFC on ESPN 62, where he beat Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision. His record is 17 wins and two losses; one fight was ruled a no-contest.

Imavov’s previous bout took place in February 2025 at UFC Fight Night 250, when he defeated Israel Adesanya by second-round TKO. Imavov’s record is 17 wins and four losses; one fight was ruled a no-contest.
