
American UFC fighter Michael Chandler has reacted to a challenge from former two-weight champion Conor McGregor to hold a fight on the White House lawn in 2026.

Anybody fancy a good old-fashioned, passionate red, white and blue ass whoopin on the lawn of The White House?
Chandler and McGregor were originally supposed to meet in the octagon in June 2024 at UFC 303, but McGregor had to withdraw from the fight due to injury.
Chandler last fought Paddy Pimblett in April of this year at UFC 314, where he lost by technical knockout in the third round. His record is now at 23 wins and 10 losses.
McGregor’s last appearance in the octagon was against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264, where he suffered a technical knockout after being unable to continue due to a leg injury. His overall record includes 22 wins and six losses.
