Charles Already Has His Next Three Fights Pre-Negotiated: Oliveira’s Coach

Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira does not plan to retire after his bout with Rafael Fiziev. According to his coach, Diego Lima, the Brazilian has already tentatively agreed with the promotion to three more fights and intends to challenge for the title again.

Charles already has his next three fights pre-negotiated. Charles is still 35 years old and motivated for another run at the belt.

The fight between Fiziev and Oliveira is scheduled as the main event of UFC Fight Night 261, which will take place October 12 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Oliveira last fought Ilia Topuria in June at UFC 317; that match ended in a first-round knockout loss for Charles. His record stands at 35 wins, 11 losses and one no-contest.

Fiziev last fought Ignacio Bahamondes in June at UFC on ABC 8, winning by unanimous decision. His record is 13 wins and four losses.
