UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev has accepted Alex Pereira’s offer to compete in a grappling match and immediately responded to the current UFC light heavyweight champion.
Pereira previously issued a challenge to Chimaev for a UFC BJJ bout, stating that all proceeds from the fight would be donated to charity. Chimaev accepted the challenge in his signature style:

Glover Teixeira, coach of Poatan, also hinted that he is ready to fight Chimaev himself.
“Uncle you need rehabilitation” Chimaev added, posting a photo of Alexander Gustafsson striking Teixeira.
The 31-year-old Chimaev last fought Dricus du Plessis in August of this year at UFC 319. He won that bout by unanimous decision and captured the UFC middleweight title. His professional record stands at 15 wins and zero losses.
The 38-year-old Pereira last competed against Magomed Ankalaev on October 5 in the main event of UFC 320 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He won that fight via first-round technical knockout and reclaimed the UFC light heavyweight title. His record currently stands at 13 wins and 3 losses.
