Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva gave his prediction for a potential bout between Khamzat Chimaev and Alex Pereira.

Khamzat is a beast, an amazing fighter. But I put my chance in Alex Pereira if he and Chimaev meet in the octagon.
Chimaev last fought Dricus du Plessis in August of this year at UFC 319. Khamzat won that fight via unanimous decision and captured the UFC middleweight champion belt. His record stands at 15 wins and no losses.
Pereira last stepped into the octagon against Magomed Ankalaev in October of this year at UFC 320. Alex won that fight via technical knockout in the first round, reclaiming the UFC light heavyweight championship belt. His record includes 13 wins and three losses.
