Cormier Says Khabib Was Offered $40 Million For Returning To UFC

Former UFC double champion Daniel Cormier revealed the amount of money former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov turned down for a return to the promotion.

Cormier said on his YouTube channel:

Khabib Nurmagomedov turned down 40 million dollars to fight in the UFC. I don’t know how many fights he was meaning. I don’t know what he meant. But he just said, ‘I turned away $40 million brother. I am done.’

Nurmagomedov last fought against American Justin Gaethje in October 2020 at UFC 254. In that fight, Khabib won by technical submission in the second round.
