WBA super-welterweight champion Terence Crawford answered a question about who he considers the best boxer in the UFC.
Terence Crawford
It’s my guy, Cody [Garbrandt]. He’s the best UFC boxer. Yeah, I saw Topuria, but I don’t know, man, Cody’s got those hands. But I’m saying, when you’re talking about straight boxing, we ain’t talking about nothing else, we’re talking about straight boxing skills, I just think Cody’s got the best boxing skills in the UFC. But that’s just my opinion.
Recall that on September 13 in Las Vegas Crawford will fight Canelo Álvarez for the undisputed super-middleweight title.
Canelo last fought in May 2025, defeating William Scull by unanimous decision. His record is 63 wins (39 by KO), two losses and two draws.
Crawford last fought in August 2024, beating Israil Madrimov by unanimous decision. His record is 41 wins (31 by KO) and no losses.
