UFC president Dana White reacted sharply to the incident involving American Dillon Danis, who started a brawl at UFC 322 in New York. According to the promotion’s head, Danis will never appear at any UFC event again.
The incident occurred inside Madison Square Garden. The video footage showed a group of people approaching Danis before a scuffle broke out. According to MMA Junkie correspondent Nolan King, those involved included Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Magomed Zaynukov from Khabib’s team. Security, police, and UFC vice president Hunter Campbell had to intervene.
At the post-event press conference, White stated that Danis would not be allowed back on any UFC show.
Danis’s last fight was against Warren Spencer in August of this year at Misfits Boxing 22. He won that bout by submission in the first round and captured the Misfits lightweight title. His professional record stands at three wins and zero losses.
