Brazilian bantamweight fighter Douglas Silva de Andrade received a six-month suspension for violating the UFC's anti-doping policy.
He tested positive for the banned substance furosemide. The sample, taken on February 14, 2025, was collected outside of competition. After the lab results were received and CSAD notified, Silva de Andrade was pulled from his upcoming fight immediately after weigh-ins on February 28.
The six-month ban started on February 28, 2025, the day he was provisionally suspended and removed from the event. He will be eligible to return to UFC competition on August 28.
Silva de Andrade last fought Miles Johns in June 2024 at UFC on ESPN 58, losing by unanimous decision after going the full distance. His MMA record stands at 29 wins, 6 losses, and one no contest.
