UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis has commented on his possible appearance at UFC 300, which is scheduled for April 14 in Las Vegas, USA.

Nothing is certain yet, but that is what we want to do. UFC 300 is a big possibility if my body allows it. I took some punishment obviously with some small injuries. I’m not 100 percent sure what the gravity of those injuries are.
Strickland and Du Plessis fought on January 21 in the main event of UFC 297 in Toronto, Canada. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Dricus by split decision of the judges. Thus, he won the championship belt in the middleweight division.
Strickland has 28 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts. Du Plessis has 21 wins and two losses.
