Du Plessis reacts to Adesanya's challenge: Enjoy your win at home in New Zealand

UFC middleweight fighter Dricus Du Plessis responded to division champion Israel Adesanya, who previously said he wanted to fight Du Plessis if the South African gets a few more wins.

Dricus Du Plessis on his Instagram
So you won’t say my name, that’s smart you better not. I don’t need your airtime at all, I have my whole continent of AFRICA behind me. Go enjoy your very spectacular victory at home in New Zealand. We are Africa we fear nothing and certainly nobody.

Du Plessis had his last fight against Derek Brunson in March of this year at UFC 285. Dricus won that fight by TKO in the second round. He has 19 wins and two losses under his belt.

Adesanya last competed in the Octagon against Alex Pereira on April 9 at UFC 287. That fight ended in Israel's favor by knockout in the second round. He has 24 wins and two losses under his belt.
