Famous UFC commentator Joe Rogan stated that Olympic wrestling champion Gable Steveson has unique physical skills and is capable of completely changing the situation in the lacklustre UFC heavyweight division.

The heavyweight division is so devoid of talent. Gable Steveson is the f*** guy. He's not even in the UFC yet. Olympic gold medalist, f*** freak athlete, 250 pounds, moves like a cat. I sent Dana White a video of Gable's last fight. He KO'ed this guy with a left hand and then took him down as he was knocked out. Really good striking already, and he's only been striking for like a f*** year. ... Everyone's f**ed. That kind of speed is nuts for a heavyweight.
Steveson last fought Kevin Hein in November of this year at an APFC league event. In that contest, Gable won by knockout in the first round. He holds a record of two wins and zero losses.
