Azerbaijani UFC fighter Rafael Fiziev announced that he had to pull out from his bout against Brazilian Charles Oliveira because of a knee injury. Polish fighter Mateusz Gamrot agreed to replace Fiziev on short notice.
Oliveira and Gamrot will face off on October 12 at UFC Fight Night 261 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Many people are asking what happened and why I won’t fight. I injured my knee again, but there’s no need for surgery. Still, I can’t perform at 100%, can’t train, wrestle, or box. I need several months to recover before returning to competition.
Fiziev’s last fight was in June at UFC on ABC 8, where he won by unanimous decision over Ignacio Bahamondes. He currently holds a record of 13 wins and 4 losses.
