Former UFC fighter Geane Herrera passed away at the age of 33 due to a motorcycle accident. The tragedy occurred on May 19th in Tampa, USA. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that Herrera was driving at a very high speed and collided with a car.
After the collision, the fighter hit a concrete barrier, which threw him several meters away onto the road.
Herrera competed in four fights under the UFC. His last fight in the promotion took place in November 2016 at UFC Fight Night 101, where he lost by unanimous decision to Ben Nguyen. Herrera has 10 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts.
