Rountree vs Hill Fight At UFC 303 Canceled

American fighter Khalil Rountree will not compete at UFC 303, where he was scheduled to face the promotion's former light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill.

Rountree announced on social media that he had used a banned substance and received a temporary suspension. According to the fighter, he discovered taking dehydroepiandrosterone as a medication on his own and reported it to the UFC.

It is not yet known for how long the UFC will suspend Rountree. As a reminder, the UFC 303 tournament will take place on June 30. The main event of the evening will feature a bout between former UFC double champion Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.

Hill last fought against Alex Pereira on April 14 at UFC 300. In that fight, Jamal suffered a first-round knockout loss. Hill has 12 wins and two losses on his record, with one more fight ruled a no-contest.

Rountree last stepped into the octagon against Anthony Smith in December 2023 at UFC Fight Night 233. That fight ended in Khalil's favor by technical knockout in the third round. Rountree has 13 wins and five losses on his record, and one fight ruled a no-contest.
