Gane Just Gave Away His Head to Jones, It Was Embarrassing: Taktarov

Oleg Taktarov, the winner of UFC 6, shared his thoughts in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net regarding the upcoming heavyweight title fight between England's Tom Aspinall and France's Ciryl Gane, set for UFC 321.

"This is a decent matchup. Honestly, I didn't believe Dana White when he promised Alexander Volkov some sort of compensation for his rematch result against Gane. That never happened, but why not give it a chance? We'll see if Aspinall has improved since his last fights, where he performed remarkably well.

Gane should have worked on his mental approach. He came to the fight with Jon Jones psychologically unprepared – he just gave away his head like a punching bag. It was embarrassing. If Volkov wins his next fight, there's a 99 percent chance he'll meet Tom again. Volkov is a different fighter now compared to their first meeting.

Remember, UFC 321 will take place on October 25 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Aspinall boasts a record of 15 wins and three losses in his career, while Gane has 13 wins and two losses.
