British UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett launched a verbal attack at former UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev of Russia.
Paddy Pimblett
Islam was chatting pony the other day, saying who have I beat when he got the title shot at lightweight after beating Bobby Green, someone who I beat faster than (him), the little bum. How about that one, Islam? Get back down to lightweight and I’ll punch your head in as well.
Pimblett last fought in April of this year at UFC 314, where he defeated Michael Chandler via third-round technical knockout. His professional record stands at 23 wins and 3 losses.
Makhachev is set to face UFC welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena on November 16 at UFC 322 in New York City.
The Russian last competed in January at UFC 311, submitting Renato Moicano in the first round with a chokehold to defend his UFC lightweight title. After that bout, he vacated the belt and moved up to welterweight. His record currently stands at 27 wins and 1 loss.
