Brazilian UFC fighter Diego Lopes has responded to criticism directed at him following the announcement of his rematch against the promotion's featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski, which will take place on February 1st at UFC 325 in Sydney, Australia.

The first fight between Volkanovski and Lopes took place in April of this year at ufc 314. Alexander won that fight by unanimous decision and claimed the vacant UFC featherweight championship belt.
Volkanovski holds a mixed martial arts record of 27 wins and four losses. Lopes's record stands at 27 wins and seven losses.
