Holland promises to end his career if Chimaev gets a fight for the UFC middleweight belt

American UFC welterweight Kevin Holland said he would end his career if Swedish Chechen-born fighter Khamzat Chimaev gets a fight with the promotion's middleweight champion Alex Pereira.

If after beating Thompson on Sunday morning I wake up and see Chimaev fighting for the middleweight title - and he hasn't won a single middleweight fight - you can consider me retired.

Recall that Kevin Holland will fight Stephen Thompson on December 3 at UFC on ESPN 42.

Holland, 30, last competed at UFC 279 in September, 2022, when he lost to Khamzat Chimaev by TKO in the first round. He has 23 wins and eight losses under his belt.
