On the night of December 14th in Lyon, France, Nemkov fought Brazil's Renan Ferreira for the PFL heavyweight title. Vadim secured the victory via submission (rear-naked choke) in the first round, thus claiming the PFL heavyweight championship belt. Nemkov's mixed martial arts record now stands at 19 wins, two losses, and one no-contest.
