The ninth-ranked fighter in the UFC lightweight division, Beneil Dariush, shared his mindset ahead of the fight against Benoit Saint Denis, which will take place on November 16 in New York, USA, at UFC 322.
Beneil Dariush for MMA Junkie
He's very well rounded. I can win in many different ways, and I can also lose in many different ways. It's going to be a tactical fight and ultimately I think whoever is more well-rounded is going to win this fight. I have to make sure I'm staying sharp on everything. Offence, defense and all the in between. It's the little gaps in MMA that make a big difference, so I just have to stay sharp.
Dariush last entered the octagon in June 2025 at UFC 317, where he defeated Renato Moicano by unanimous judges’ decision. He has a record of 23 wins, six losses, and one draw.
Saint Denis fought his last match in September 2025 at UFC Fight Night 258, defeating Mauricio Ruffy by submission in the second round. His record stands at 15 wins, three losses, and one no contest.
