Former UFC champion in two weight divisions Alex Pereira stated on his social media that his official account had been hacked and that he did not post negative comments about the league's management.
I didn't know about it, I was hacked. It's been a while since I've posted anything, you guys see, but I was hacked and I'll resolve it. I have a great relationship with the UFC. Chama.
For context, previously, the fighter’s account had posted the following message: “I always answered the UFC’s calls, but if they want to play with me, we can do that. I’ve never spoken poorly of the UFC but with what I’ve just heard I’m disheartened. I’ve already had thoughts of not fighting anymore, and after what was just relayed to me this may be the start."
On March 9 in Las Vegas, at UFC 313, Pereira fought Magomed Ankalaev. In a match that lasted the full distance, Ankalaev won by unanimous decision, claiming the UFC light heavyweight title.
Ankalaev's mixed martial arts record includes 20 wins, one loss, and one draw, while one of his fights is considered a no contest. Pereira has 12 wins and three losses in his professional career.
