UFC light heavyweight division fighter Bogdan Guskov shared his thoughts on the rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net.

I don't see any intrigue in the rematch between Alex Pereira and Ankalaev. Pereira understands this too. The UFC had listed Ankalaev during Ramadan, had insisted on bad conditions for Magomed. But he fought very well. What's going to happen when he is well prepared? Pereira is very thorough, as any champion. He just doesn't want to fight Magomed.
What's next for Ankalaev? Moving up to heavyweight. He has no opponents left in the light heavyweight division, unless they sign someone new. Ankalaev's dominance will be more evident in the second fight against Pereira. Besides, Magomed performs better in rematches,” Guskov said.
On March 8 at UFC 313, Magomed Ankalaev defeated Alex Pereira by unanimous decision and became the UFC light heavyweight champion.
