McGhee is quite a strong opponent, and that's when Yan truly shines because such people don’t run away from wrestling, they aren’t afraid to do battle. This fight promises to be an interesting show. Petr just needs to get to his opponent. He couldn’t do that in his previous bouts.
"Usually, he would hit his opponents thoroughly. Now, he seems to be waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And his opponents would get points during this time. The opportunity slipped away, and Yan could find himself unable to finish with a knockout, allowing his opponent to “survive” and win by a split decision. Those fights have taught him a lot," stated Magomedov.
Remember, the UFC on ABC 9 tournament will take place on July 26. Throughout his MMA career, Yan has achieved 18 wins against five losses, while McGhee boasts ten wins and one loss.
