Top Brazilian UFC fighter Diego Lopes has expressed his desire to fight Mexican Yair Rodriguez at the UFC's tournament in September.

I'm available for [Noche UFC in September] to face Yair Rodriguez. I think it's a fight everyone wants to see, but we'll have to see if he accepts.... If the UFC wants me to fight in September, I'd prefer to fight Yair.
Lopes last fought against Alexander Volkanovski this past April at UFC 314. In that fight, which went the full distance, Diego was defeated by unanimous decision. He has 26 wins and seven losses to his name.
