UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili from Georgia has refuted the claim that there are no American male champions in the organization.

A UFC tournament at the White House is planned to be scheduled for 2026 to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
Dvalishvili's last fight took place in June 2025 at UFC 316, where he defeated Sean O'Malley by submission in the third round. He currently has 20 wins and four losses.
