I Obviously Feel Bad for Tom That He Lost All That Time and Money: Dana White

UFC president Dana White has expressed his regret that British fighter Tom Aspinall never got the chance to face Jon Jones, who recently announced his retirement from professional fighting.

Dana White
I obviously feel bad for Tom that he lost all that time and money, but we'll make it up to him. Tom Aspinall is a good guy. He's been incredible through this whole process that we've gone through. He's been willing to do anything - fight him anywhere and anytime and do this, and now he's like, "I'll fight anybody. You tell me who, and I'll fight him."

Jones last fought in the octagon in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he defeated Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. His record stands at 28 wins and one loss, with one fight declared a no contest.

Aspinall last competed against Curtis Blaydes in July 2024 at UFC 304. In that bout, which was stopped in the first round, Tom emerged victorious by knockout. He has a mixed martial arts record of 15 wins and three losses.
