American mixed martial arts fighter Nate Diaz reiterated his desire to return to the UFC and there to hold a third fight against Irishman Conor McGregor.
Nate Diaz, quoted by Red Corner MMA
I plan on going back to UFC. With time, for sure, whenever he's [McGregor] back, I'm sure we're going to fight. Me and him for sure have unfinished business. Those are the guys right there that I would want to fight. Like Max Holloway. I'd like to fight that other guy [Topuria].
Diaz last fought under the MMA rules against Tony Ferguson in September 2022 at UFC 279. Nate won that fight with a choking submission in the fourth round. He has 21 wins and 13 losses on his record.
McGregor last entered the octagon in July 2021 at UFC 264, losing to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout (leg injury) in the first round. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
